Women for Change - Inaugural IGNITE Art Exhibition 2024

As a founding member of Women for Change, I helped convene and was MC for the inaugural IGNITE Art Exhibition, bringing together established Australian artists including Ann Thomson, Wendy Sharpe AM, Euan Macleod, Belinda Fox, Jo Bertini, Sue Archer, Dave Horton and David Fairbairn, alongside emerging artists from the National Art School.

Showcasing the enormous generosity of the Australian art community, who donated their beautiful works for the exhibition, the event raised funds to support WFC’s educational programs for young women in Kenya, Nepal and India. Held at the Sibyl Centre at The Women's College, the evening also featured James Valentine and friends, who generously donated their time and musical talent.

My painting, Where the Light Gets In, ink, acrylic on canvas, 140 x 215cm, was part of the Exhibition.
